🚩Very poor grammar and spelling
🚩Professes love instantly
🚩Says they can't video chat because the camera is broken or on a secret mission
🚩Claims to be widowed with one child
🚩Was attacked and had passport and credit cards stolen
🚩Asks for money for military leave, medical expenses, flights, customs fees, business contracts
🚩Shows you engineering contracts, passports, military ID, fiancee leave request forms, online marriage certificates (they will all always be fake)
🚩Promises to send you a box full of valuables
🚩Asks you to open a bank account for them (this is to launder their stolen money)
🚩Sends you a bank order and asks you to send them back the money. (It will be counterfeit and you will be charged with money laundering)
🚩Lures you off the dating site and onto messenger or hangouts
🚩Gets angry when questioned
🚩Claims to be military deployed overseas or on a peacekeeping mission
🚩Asks for gift cards
🚩Wants money by Western Union, MoneyGram or wire transfer
🚩Military and can't access their bank account
🚩Has a @usa.com email address. This is a common fake US military email format used by scammers
🚩Tells you they're not allowed to give out their military email address. (It's all lies)
