How do you know if you're being scammed ?

Scammers very often steal photos of soldiers, especially US military and use them to scam victims because they know that people show a great deal of respect for the military and often thank them for their service. Most of the photos are of men but an increasingly large amount of female military are being used by scammers. Most women are scammed by fake US soldiers claiming to be serving overseas, often in peacekeeping missions. US generals are very commonly used by scammers and form relationships and online marriages to victims. Women are also commonly scammed by photos of models,actors and other celebrities.

Most men are scammed by photos of pornographic actresses, models, female US soldiers and other celebrities.

You must do your research to keep safe. Google the person's name followed by romance scam to see if they are known to be used by scammers.

Search for images using a reverse image search app. I recommend "image search by Google" on Google play and the yandex browser is also good for searching images.

Scammers don't usually use random photos of random people. They use the same people time and time again. Some victims have thousands of fake profiles of themselves on social media and dating sites.
